Sustainability

Sustainability at the current stage is a requirement to test most institutions, to achieve this, it is necessary to adopt strategies and the availability of ingredients for the survival and continuity of its current and future ability to achieve sustainability.

In view of the pioneering role played by Al-Zahraa University for Women, as one of the knowledge institutions that contribute to achieving community development and is the engine for the advancement and progress of nations. We directed a research effort towards it to enhance its contribution to achieving sustainable development.

In recognition of the university’s continuous efforts to conserve and optimize energy, in addition to applying the concept of sustainability in a practical way

On the university campus, the annual report of Al-Zahraa University for Women was drawn up regarding the green metric classification for the year 2022.

According to the university’s commitment to environmental standards and the green color, it is ranked 846 out of 1050 university included in the classification. The university was ranked 810 out of 1050 university with regard to energy conservation and taking into account climate change in general, which is the most difficult environmental standard. This classification is an acknowledgment of the University’s continuous efforts to reduce energy consumption and mitigate climate change. The university also ranked 500 out of 1050 university in terms of rationalizing the use of water and preserving its resources and 495 out of 1050 university in terms of preparation and infrastructure.
