The Holy Husseiniya Shrine holds the second Kawthar Al-Asma International Cultural Festival.”

Under the auspices of the Holy Husseiniya Shrine, the second Kawthar Al-Ismah International Cultural Festival was held under the slogan “Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her), The blessing from heaven and the manifestation of Kawthar” in the holy Al-Hussaini shrine on the evening of Friday 13/1/2023, marking the divine occasion of the birth anniversary of Sayyeda Fatima Zahra(pbuh).
The festival began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran,followed by the speech delivered by the representative of the religious authority and the legal guardian of the Holy Shrine of Husseiniya, Sheikh Abd al-Mahdi al-Karbalai (may his glory last) in which he stated, “On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the noble daughter of Prophet Mohammed(Pbuh) Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her, we are honored to announce from this provided rostrum that we are indeed blessed by the Almighty to acquire an opportunity to establish a university that bears the name of the Noble lady, Sayyeda Fatima Zahra ( Peace be upon her), renowned as Al-Zahra University for women, he further stated that in accordance to the festival, it is a matter of immense pride to announce the establishment of the (Umm Abiha Institute for Studies and Research) in the honour of the Noble and pious lady, Syyeda Zahraa (peace be upon her).The vision and the objectives of the institute is to to activate the Fatimid missionary role in the movement of the society in general.
He further added, “We seek great pleasure in inviting enthusiastic female individuals who can carry the Fatimid message for the women’s society in order to encourage them to participate in spreading the message of the institute locally and internationally.
He emphasized that “this foundation comes in light of the cultural, educational and moral challenges that threaten the family and women’s entity in general more than before.”

It is worth noting that the festival included many other events, including: poems, religious chants, and various art and cultural exhibitions honoring the glory of the Noble lady,Sayyida Fatima Al Zahra( pbuh).
